Does morning desert safari include breakfast or food?

Food situation for morning safari:

What's Included:

  • Bottled water throughout the tour
  • Soft drinks at the camp
  • Light snacks at camp (dates, crackers—varies)
  • Arabic coffee/tea at camp

What's NOT Included:

  • Full breakfast spread
  • Hot meal
  • Substantial food

Why No Big Breakfast:

Honestly, it's logistics and preference. The tour returns by 10:30-11:00 AM, so most people either eat breakfast before pickup (5:30-6:00 AM) or after return at their hotel. Very few people want to eat a big meal at 9:00 AM in the desert when they'll be back at their hotel an hour later.

If You Want Breakfast Included:

We can arrange this as an add-on. Some guests specifically request it for special occasions or if they have later afternoon flights. We'll set up a breakfast spread at the camp. Just mention it when booking so we can prepare.

Our Recommendation:

  • Light breakfast before pickup (coffee, fruit, pastry)
  • Stay hydrated during safari (we provide water)
  • Proper brunch at hotel after return

The camp refreshments are enough to keep you going—it's only about 4 hours from pickup to return, and you're not doing heavy physical labor.

Comparison:

Evening safaris include full BBQ dinner because they run 3 PM to 9 PM—you're there during dinner time. Morning safari is 6 AM to 10:30 AM—not a traditional meal period. That's reflected in what's included.
