Should I do morning or evening desert safari?

Both are good—just different. Here's the honest breakdown:

Choose Morning Safari if:

  • You hate extreme heat (especially June-September visitors)
  • You're traveling with young children
  • You have evening plans (dinners, attractions, flights)
  • You want to fit multiple activities in one day
  • You prefer active mornings to afternoon adventures
  • You care more about activities than cultural entertainment

Choose Evening Safari if:

  • You want the full cultural experience
  • BBQ dinner and live shows (belly dancing, Tanoura) matter to you
  • You love desert sunsets
  • You prefer sleeping in on vacation
  • You're not bothered by heat
  • You want the 'classic' Arabian night experience

Activities are the same: Both include dune bashing, sandboarding, and camel riding. The difference is timing, temperature, and inclusions.

Our observation: Families with kids usually prefer morning. Couples and groups often choose evening for the entertainment. Summer visitors almost always pick morning because afternoon heat is brutal.

Can't decide? Do both if you have time—they're different enough experiences that some people book both.
