Can pregnant women do morning desert safari?

Honest answer about pregnancy and desert safari:

Dune Bashing - Not Recommended:

Dune bashing involves significant bouncing, jarring movements, sudden direction changes, and G-forces. It's fun because it's intense—which is exactly why it's not safe during pregnancy. We strongly advise against it at any stage of pregnancy.

Other Activities:

Camel Riding: Not recommended, especially second and third trimester. The mounting/dismounting and swaying motion aren't ideal.

Sandboarding: Probably fine if you go gently, but most doctors advise against activities with fall risk.

Photos and Camp: Totally fine.

Alternative Approach:

Some pregnant guests book the safari for their family/friends and they:

  • Skip the dune bashing (wait at meeting point or skip that portion)
  • Join for photos at scenic spots
  • Participate in camp visit
  • Basically enjoy the desert setting without the intense activities

Better Option:

Consider our desert sunset photo tour (no extreme activities) or wait until after pregnancy. The desert will still be here, and you'll enjoy dune bashing way more when you can fully participate without worry.

Insurance Note:

Most activity insurance doesn't cover pregnancy-related issues. You'd be participating at your own risk.

Our Position:

We won't refuse pregnant guests, but we strongly recommend waiting. If you do join, you must sign acknowledgment that you're aware of risks and choosing to participate against recommendation. Always consult your doctor first.
