1. Evening Desert Safari Pick-Up (Most Popular)
Pick-up Window: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Drop-off time: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
This is the standard pick-up window for the classic evening safari. The goal is to reach the desert dunes just in time for a thrilling 30-45 minute dune bashing session followed by sunset photography before headed to the Bedouin camp.
2. Morning Desert Safari Pick-Up
Pick-up Window: 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Drop-off time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Perfect for those with a tight schedule or those who prefer to avoid the afternoon heat. Morning safaris are designed to be quick and adrenaline-packed, getting you back to the city in time for lunch.
3. Overnight Desert Safari Pick-Up
Pick-up Window: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Drop-off time: 8:30 AM (Next Day)
Factors That Influence Your Pick-Up Time
- Location: Pick-ups from areas like Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) or Dubai Marina might be slightly earlier than from Deira or Bur Dubai due to route planning.
- Season: In winter, the sun sets earlier, so some operators might move the pick-up time forward by 30 minutes to ensure you catch the sunset.
- Traffic: Traffic conditions on major highways like Sheikh Zayed Road can occasionally lead to slight variations.
