Can we feed or touch the animals?

The goal of the conservation reserve is to keep the ecosystem natural. Feeding animals makes them dependent on humans and can cause health issues (bread, for example, is bad for gazelles). We stay inside our vehicles or at designated safe spots. This ensures your safety—Oryx horns are sharp!—and keeps the animals wild. Your guide will carry binoculars so you can get a 'close-up' view without disturbing them.
