How long is the drive to Jebel Jais?

Jebel Jais is located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, north of Dubai. The drive is part of the adventure. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to reaching Ras Al Khaimah city from Dubai via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). From there, the ascent up the mountain road—which is 30km of smooth, winding tarmac—takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace and stops.
