Direct Answer: No Outside Food
Dubai Safari Park (The Zoo): Strict policy restricts bringing outside food and beverages to ensure the safety of animals (plastic waste risks) and hygiene. There are multiple restaurants and food trucks inside the park.
Dubai Desert Safari (The Tour): While not strictly "banned," you generally don't need to bring food. The evening safari includes a massive buffet dinner. Bringing snacks is okay, but heavy meals are unnecessary (and risky given the bumpy car ride!).
Exceptions to the Rule
- Baby Food: Milk, formula, and baby food are always allowed.
- Water: Small water bottles are typically permitted, though Desert Safaris provide unlimited water.
- Medical Needs: Special dietary food required for medical conditions is allowed.
What to Expect on the Desert Safari Menu?
The dinner included in your ticket is usually a generous spread:
Starters: Falafel, Shawarma.
Mains: BBQ Chicken/Lamb, Rice, Noodles, Salads, Hummus.
Dessert: Fruits, Local sweets (Luqaimat).
Note: Vegetarian and sometimes Vegan options are available.
