Choosing the right outfit for the desert can be tricky. You want to look good for photos, but you also need to be practical for the heat and activities.
Can I Wear Shorts?
Yes, absolutely. Unlike visiting mosques, desert safaris are quite relaxed regarding dress codes. Shorts, t-shirts, and dresses are all acceptable. However, keep in mind that evenings in the desert (especially Nov-Feb) can get chilly.
Footwear Matters
Leave the expensive heels at the hotel! Sand gets everywhere. We recommend:
- Sandals/Flip-flops: Easy to take off when you want to walk barefoot on the dunes.
- Sneakers: Best if you plan on doing Quad Biking or Sandboarding.
